Grasshopper Loading Errors Object: KangarooA (level 1) { Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation. TargetInvocationException } Object: KangarooA (level 2) { Could not load file

Hi Everyone. Im getting the same errors...

Object: KangarooA (level 1)
{
Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation.
TargetInvocationException
}

Object: KangarooA (level 2)
{
Could not load file or assembly 'KangarooLib, Version=0.0.8.5, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.
FileNotFoundException
}

Repeated attempts and diligent following of guidelines still cannot get the main "Kangaroo" component to come up.

It would appear I am missing the ' KangarooLib, Version0.0.8.5 ' . Does anyone know where I can download this?

Any thought, comments?

Thank you!!

Try going to the Components folder, right click on the Kangaroo files, go to properties and ensure that both files are unblocked.

Got it. I had unblocked them earlier and that didnt work, but i just tried something new, a correction really, and it worked. My first problem was replacing the new gll and gha files in the components folder using the windows explorer. I should have done it directly through grasshopper, with Rhino open (previously cleared of all old .dll and .gha files[as described in the  install note]). No more errors. Kangaroo component is working. =)

Thanks for the response and I hope this helps anyone else.

didn't work for me...I did by this way but it keeps sending me this error...any other suggestion?

Try searching for and removing all old versions of the kangaroo gha and dll

It is possible that old versions could be interfering with loading, even if not located in the usual directories. Once you have only a single copy of the .gha and .dll, both in the usual components folder and both unblocked then it should work

hi, I am fresh man in Kangaroo, and I have same problem. But as soon as I unlocked the .gha and .dll files in component folder. It is done now~~

hello, could you be more specific please on how did you open it directly through grasshopper with Rhino open?

thanks man,

gabriel
