Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

In order to have a Graph Mapper to work well with variating ranges of numbers, you have to remap the values before and after the Mapper:

Wouldn't it be cool if Graph Mapper had four additional nodes to allow for domain customization?

Nice wish :) Indeed is a little bit complicated explain to the people a correct parametric use of GhaphMapper.

I hope David listen this :)

Best Regards.

+1 on the referenced domain

and also +1 on the graph mapper accesible form outside of a cluster. Maybe that would require clusters 4.0 to have a sort of remote control of the cluster, of course configurable with all sorts of knobs and sliders and MD slider, graph mapper.... That's a lot right? would be nice...

Yes, it would be nice to have dynamic graph domains but olso inputs for the control points so that they are not only manually controled but olso driven by other data. I find myself "drawing"graphs similar to the existing in Graph Mapper for that reason.

I'm listening to all of this, but it will be a while before I get around to improving the Graph Mapper.

Yeah it will be nice !!

Is there any other type of graphs than the normal ones ??

Not sure if i'm a bit late for this, just been having the same issue.

I've just remapped from 0 to 1 prior to graphmapper and then remapped again afterwards to the domain i want
