Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Is there a way to stop slider animations midway thru processing? I doubt anyone will reply before my animation is done, but would be good to know for future.

Just close the grasshopper window by clicking "X" button at upper right corner.

This will prevent Rhino & GH from calculating solution,
so Rhino just saves current viewport image without GH preview for the remaining frames. (quite fast)

When the definition is heavy, it will save you some time.
Chris,

I'll extend the Escape=Cancel logic to slider animations as well.

David—

Was the Escape=Cancel logic ever implemented? It doesn't seem to work at present, but it'd still be a welcome shortcut. Cheers!

My solution is to delete the animated slider and then undo.
