Change Preview Color of an Output

Hi there.  This post on turning the preview on and off for python component outputs was extremely helpful:

I was just curious if it was possible to use something similar to change the preview color of output geometry (similar to the way that the GH Preview component works).

I doubt it. As a regular component you can, but I don't think that the python vomponent allows you to override that. You could hide the output and draw the geometry yourself...

Thanks for the quick response, David.  I understand and I'll keep using the grasshopper preview component to color my geometry results or just output the geometry as a colored mesh.
