Nothing to do with polylines or other forms of geometery. This is to do with Discussions on the Forum.

A conversation on Grasshopper is never finished, you may fined that your specific question has been answered by one contributor but that does not mean that there aren't anymore methods, possibly better, possibly worse out there for someone else to suggest.

@Silver, here is something that I wanted to post this morning outlining the approach I took for your parametric roof definition. It might not be beneficial to you anymore but there may be others on the forum who would like to know more. Here it is:

And certainly never delete.

Oh yeah, I missed that bit...

May i add, that if discussions aren't closed its nice to see both the progression of grasshopper itself and also study many possible ways of solving a problem that surface through time, by taking advantage of components that come with newer versions.
