Deformed Columns

Hey folks!

Does someone know how to build up those deformed columnes like in the picture below? It would be great to have the possibility to change the level, the size of the deformation of the lower and upper parts and the tapering of the middle parts.

I would be very happy if someone could help me out!! :)
