The solution in this case was to unblock the Kangaroo assemblies (*.dll, *.gha).

Thanks Will!

I thought I had done this already.  What had turned out is that I had selected all the files and then right clicked.  In that case the "unblock" option is not displayed... I went back in and selected and right clicked each one individually and it worked.
