Labeling

Hi every one,
I’m trying to write a definition for labeling different pieces in grasshopper which is helpful in fabrication. The labels are placed in the center of each panel in both model and unfolded model for laser cut. It is working pretty well and it can count and labeled each piece just in unfolded sheet. But it can’t understand the order in the model. It just applies the same number for all the pieces.

hi maysam,

it could be a problem with the "datatree-structure" in the model...
you could try to "tag" the components of the model seperately, to control the order..

Maysam, try to see the order of the elements by using a Vector>Point>Point List component. This will show you the order of the elements. That might help. I think that [u is saying might be correct, but we cannot know unless we see the definition.
