algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi,

I created two objects, one is a cylinder to make a hole in the other one.

I try to make it with:

Up4 = rs.BooleanDifference (Up3,cyl,True)

With Up3 as object to make a hole in...

Up3 is created by surface extrution, cyl by addCylinder.

Unfortunaly its not working at all...

Is it the wrong way to make holes is there a mistake in my commands?

The other question is how to fillet a brep, but as far as i looked it up there is no poption yet?

Thanks, Benny

Hi Benjamin

could you please provide an example of this? Maybe bake the geometry?
This would help troubleshooting what is happening!

Thanks

Its a long wheared file starting from a point and exruding geometrys...

If i bake the breps and do the boomeanDif in a new python file it works - but its not the goal :)

attached the actual file... only one point needed as input

You'll need to provide the input geometry as well. If I set a point on the input point parameter both ""UP3" and "cyl" output Null..

I've attached a simple example with just a brep box and cylinder. Perhaps it'll help..
