OT: The bold faced cheek of it! - PUBLIC SAFETY ANNOUNCEMENT

This is the profile picture of a repeat spam offender :

What they really want from you is right there in the picture. In the past week I have binned 26 (EDIT 27) spammers. 16 of which are the same "Hello Dear, I saw your profile...." type. If nothing else she/it should get credit for being persistent. But persistence obviously pays of as some of you are replying.

I'm going to bump this as there seems to be a sudden resurgence in "Hello Dear" spammers. Best efforts are spent trying to keep the forum spam free but there is usually a small window for them to take hold and in that window some of you are still replying to them.

When someone's first contact with you on the forum is to get you to contact them off the forum then something is fishy. Of course this doesn't apply to the other type of spammers who contact you and say "I like your definition please email it to pl@giarism.rus"
