Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I am trying to make a roof that acts like the roof generated in Revit, means that I can change the angles of each segment and the roof will be generated automatically.

Here is the extract of the project I am doing where I am showing the definition of the roof I am trying to do.. i am blocked and I cant know how to continue, I want my roof to be made from the intersection of these plans, so whenever I change the angle of one angle the roof will automatically change... any help in this issue

intresting topic, but I think it's complicated to do in grasshopper.. at least I do not have an answer for this

Yes it's complicated but I dnt think it's impossible

here is a difinition that works... but I think it's too basic and manually thinking... what s am looking for is something more parametric and more intelligent

No it is not a solution

hey pieter, thank you for your definition, I will check it to see how it works

I checked this definition and actually it gives some error when angles might go larger than it should be.

I am trying to adjust it so it can work like we do in revit we only have to define the angle.. the purpose of this definition is that pple that has no architectural background could use it in order to choose the form of the roof they like the most...

yep we r close, but it gives some unwanted weird forms...

I expect you do know how to scale a box...

I did it, but as I said this is supposed to be something for public who cant use grasshopper.. and as shown in the pic i added i changed the scale of the box..

So i am exposing all problems that they can have.
