Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello,

The problem I'm having is a bit complex to explain but I'll try.

First thing I have is a Brep divided in a grid. The faces of the brep all have a centroid(1).
Now I've made some centroids(2) that have the exact same position as the centroids(1) but are "randomly" spread over the surface.

My goal is to keep the Brep faces that only have centroid(2).

Is there a command in grasshopper that can help me?
I'm thinking of something like: " If face has centroid you can keep the face"

Since you post no definition I will just give you a description. Use pull point. for points to search use all the centroids(1). For geometry that pulls use your centroids (2). get the equal component. plug the distance result of pull point into equals (a) and put the value zero into equals (b). plug the result of equals into a cull pattern components pattern input and plug the faces into the first input of cull pattern.

Micheal your solution worked. It was exactly what I was looking for so thanks a lot.

Hallo,

I can think of 3 possible ways to do this - screenshot below. Also attaching the example script here. You can probably go with the fastest option.

Cheers,

Sridevi

[EDIT: Ah, didn't see that Michael already replied]

Thanks for the effort Sridevi

Another possible way.
