Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello

I've just got to learn grasshopper. It is a wonderful new world.
By the way, I could not find the desired component.

I would like to move points on the surface(like OrientOnSrf).
For it is not a Unit X Vector, Unit U Vector is required.

How can I make that function?

Hi Min,

the 'X' in the icon is just pixels, it doesn't have anything to do with any variables that might or might not be called 'X'. The Unit vector component will turn any vector into a unit vector.

Thank you for your kind advice.

Look at the domains of the surface. A good example would be to use the [iso curve] which will highlight a curve of constant u or v

Thank you for your kind advice. i wil try with iso curve.

Here's a little progress and questions.

I have made random points on the surface. (with iso Curve, Unit Vector- Thanks ! David and Danny)

Points move in the U direction. but not in the v direction.
