Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I'm using anemone to make a coffered surface similar to the pantheon.

I divided up a dome surface, then scaled it in, then offseted it, and finally connected the edges of the two surfaces. So I want to repeat that logic a few times.

But whenever I run the definition, it crashes. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.

Does anyone see what could be causing my issue? I'm attaching the definition as well.

Why do you use anemone for such a thing ? It can be done completely with native components.

Anemone (actually Grasshopper) is crashing(actually just taking time to compute the def) because it takes a lot of time to compute the area and offset the 102 surfaces in the end.

Thanks Mateusz! I don't know why I didn't think of doing surface morph. This is so much easier!

Purely out of curiosity, is it possible to do this with anemone?

More specifically, my question based on the image below is can I record information from each iteration even though it does not return to the end anemone component? So my loft that I have highlighted will only do show the result for the last iteration, is it possible to have it show the lofts for all the iterations?

Yes, it is possible - right click the loop end component and check the "record data" option.

Hi Mateusz, I have that checked already, but it only records the loft from the last iteration.

I tried unchecking and checking the "output after the last" option too but nothing changes.
