Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello- as a newcomer to kangaroo I have a challenge for an experienced user:

I'm trying to model a form created by creasing a square piece of paper diagonally, then 'breaking' this crease about a sixth of the way from either end. Photos of the process are attached. I'm fairly competent with grasshopper/rhino, but am very new to kangaroo and the complexity of the curved form and broken fold are stumping my efforts. Any assistance would be immensely appreciated.

Cheers,

Michael

It's not perfect, but it'll give you a start

Thanks a million, this does look like a promising start- but would you mind attaching the gh file? As mentioned I'm new to kangaroo and am having trouble locating a couple of the components you have pictured (Mesh Stiffness/Springs & Unary Force)

Yes of course!

You might need to input the anchor points though. Just back the divided curve point and manually add two points at the other corners, then reference them back in.
