Cant solve problem of culling list of points in relation to distance to other list of points

Hi guys,

I am desperately trying to solve a problem on an on going uni project. I have set up a model that uses kangaroo to simulate the wind effects on a curtain. I want to effectively anchor the points about where I would like to position the windows.

The trouble comes when I am selecting the points of the vertices of the mesh to use as anchor points. I cant work out how to cull them according to distance from the 'window' edges.

You will see if you open up the file what I mean. I have tidied it up as much as I can.

If someone could have a look It would be much appreciated.

Hi John! Hope all is well. There are a few approaches you can take, but I think using the various "closest point" components would be best here, because they identify between two lists the shortest distances. I've replaced your looking from point to point with a distance to your window frames using curve closest point components, and have also added in a "points in curves" component to test to see if points are actually inside of the windows.

Thank you David. I didn't think of that approach. I am good man, I hope all is well with you too! I will speak to you soon.

P.S I also owe you thanks from the initial curtain defn' ;)
