Structure and Light

During the Visiting School we will be investigating how light interacts with space and geometry.

In this video done by Jens Pedersen, we are testing how structural information can inform the patterning/discretisation of a given mesh. The color and patterning is controlled by the difference between deformed and initial geometry. Imagine how this will affect the light within a space? is it possible to have a light quality based on the structure of a given object?
