Here I can give you a very simple GH and a 3DM file with only one curve, if you turn on the Control Points on the curve, you can edit them and get new shapes for the lamp...
How can I post it to you?
Andres
Hi Andres,
Thank you for your quick answer.
I understand the way you did it, but it is not exaclty how I want to realise my object.
I have to start from a solid form that is define. Let say an apple for example... Than I want to divide this apple into, let say 10 pieces, that are gonna turn around the surface. Those pieces will be flat exactly like your friend did. The only thing I am able to do is pipe...
Anyway, if you can help me, It would be appreciated. If not, thanks again for you answer.
Hi Laurene
That lap was done by a good friend of mine long time ago. All there is to, is to make one blade in the XZ plane, make sure it is closed. Then, make a surface out of that closed curve. Then, extrude in the Y direction to get some thickness, then revolve this new solid X number of times around the XZ axis. Let me know if you understand, if not, I may put a simple GH def for you!
Hi mr. Gonzales,
I am currently trying to modelise in grasshopper an object that is based on the same assembly that you proposed. Would It possible for you to help me in understanding the entire procedure ? Is it possible to send me your grasshopper file, show me a video or something to help me to understand how to do it.
In fact, I am starting to use grasshopper so... you are really talking to a beginner...
Any kind of help would be appreciated.
Thank you.
