algorithmic modeling for Rhino

This is an example of the ripple script animated over time that I developed for Grasshopper (Rhino Parametric Modelling Plugin). I did this about April/May time and thought it about time that I show what it looks like Animated. I really should have linked the amplitude and time together to make it more realistic but this shows how it would look over time if amplitude doesn't decay over time.

I did, yes, and thought it a very interesting problem however skimmed over it due to a time constraint. This video was not so much for the sake of adding to that discussion though, more adding to my original image post in May '09 - http://www.grasshopper3d.com/photo/ripple-1 - I had not yet seen mine animated and so had produced the video a few months back and forgot to post it until recently.

I believe the same formulae sets I had used in my .ghx file back in April/May were used in this image in the discussion, glad to see I am not going completely down the wrong ally with my maths.

That was the next thing for me to work out, how to get the ripples to react to one another, thanks for bringing it back to my attention.
