Sorry for the late replay, Have been really busy at work with some deadlines...
Anirudh:
This simulation was developed as a data scape that allows to trace watersheds/paths; also map's the velocity acquired by the particle derived from topographic condition defined by the affluence/volume of water to determinate the areas were is more likely to occur soil runoff, erosion and water puddling, through this simulation i was able to select the area most damage and with and highest ricks that could affect local communities...
the work flow I used to develop the simulation was Maya + Grasshopper + CERVER Tools (to import particle simulation to Grasshopper) first i run the particle simulation in Maya so i could then manipulate data in grasshopper to visualize, extract specifics and cross reference data...
Dhruv:
I'm sorry but the only thing i manage to post is what you see in my Grasshopper blog you will find there an album with the summery of my Thesis...
Unfortunately the research was not funded, It was fully payed by me as it was my final 5th Year project thesis, but when I went to India i manage to talk to many different activist and organizations that were super helpful and insightful, but a little skeptic since I'm an architect and they didn't see the the relation of my profession to this issues, at some point i should pass them my research to see what they think about it. If this project ever get funded or supported i would love to continuing developing it and refining it.
The only sad thing is that i was pretty broke at the end and with very little time to build a 1:1 prototype of the Hydrogel Container.
THANKS BOTH OF YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST...
This is very interesting! Can you describe the logic and workflow a little?
