No that sounds fair to me, as long as its not saved in the defintion itself. My office uses google docs quite alot, so i have the google drive desktop client. So i suppose i could probably connect it using the standard excel procedure

Hi Nick, the component stores your username and password in memory. As soon as you quit Grasshopper, the credentials are cleared. So no need to worry IMO. Curious if you can think of a different way to do this.

Hi Andrew, yes, we are using a timer in this example. There's no listener functionality. I suppose we could try to add that though if required...

Are you using a timer or some kind of listener configuration to get the live updates? When I run your example files it doesn't seem to do live updating.

This is fantastic. Huge potential. It means everyone in the office can control the gh definition even without gh+rhino installed. 

My worry is about entering my username and password into grasshopper. How secure is the transfer of this data? Once it is stored in grasshopper, are these details saved in the gh file?
