Danke.

oh no ... it´s from one single race

"time period is dependent on the racers measured time" - so each curve is a chart data from a single race?

Comment by Stephan Schmidt on May 30, 2013 at 3:15pm

yes... we use 3 different types of data. just like you said

Comment by Stephan Schmidt on May 30, 2013 at 3:12pm

the data is collected from one driver in a formula one race. time period is dependent on the racers measured time.

So 3 base curves - for three different types of data: Speed, RPM and G-Force charts?

And each of those 3 ones, represent the chart preview for what time period? A month? A year?

Comment by Stephan Schmidt on May 30, 2013 at 7:52am

there are 3 base crvs. we use each crv two times so we have six cross sections.

Fantastic principle!
Of how many (cross-section) curves does each lofted surface consist of?

Comment by Stephan Schmidt on May 30, 2013 at 7:06am

Yes you`re right. we collect data from an excel sheet and build the crvs to loft surface. sometimes when crvs aren't smooth enohgh, we rebuild it for better result.

Very nice.
The curvature of lofted surface has actual connection with Speed, RPM and G-Force data?
Cross-section curves of lofted surface represent 2d charts of upper mentioned data?
