algorithmic modeling for Rhino
I have always been fascinated by light and its "behavior", so after I read these papers from Marc Pauly and the brilliant people from EPFL:
lgg.epfl.ch/publications/2012/caustics/caustic_art.pdf
lgg.epfl.ch/publications/2012/caustics/ArchitecturalCaustics_AAG.pdf
I decided to add it to my c# library, for further explorations. I still want to find the time to figure out how to compute the surfaces they are showing, but this is a step in the right direction. We might might use it at the AA_aarhus Visiting school to study how light, space and geometry interacts with one another.
The video shows light passing(refraction) through a wave simulation(using the Wave component from Kangaroo).

Caustics are my cup of tea.
