Or is grasshopper not running at the same time as the AR at all ? Is this just a model output from grasshopper and displayed in something else ?

Excellent work! More details please. Which AR library are you using ? How are you reading the data into grasshopper ?
I've been wishing for ages for an augmented reality/grasshopper linkup.
To interact with a live parametric model by moving objects in space in the real world - this has so much potential...
