then right click and select view page source command ,you found the hydrodynamic code that is used in the site , and which is well documented in the document attached
i managed to "wire" that code in grasshopper (look at the png) ,it is only a matter of rhinocommon ,the motion RAO's (Heave, Pitch and Roll ) combined with Sea spectrum gives the time domain ship motion ...
I will soon documet this application ,and may be share it ,but now unfortunatly
I'am very busy with the Probabilistic damage stability modeling , a question of one month max ...
workflow of karamba together with kangaroo can be that
1) you modify a mesh or lines with kangaroo, e.g. generate and modify a hanging model
2) take the mesh or the lines as structural elements in karamba, and every time kangaroo updates the geometry (interval can be set), karamba calculates the structural response
3) size the cross sections of the structure according to the member forces
4) use galapagos determining certain parameters of the model, e.g. unary forces in kangaroo to adjust the model
Hey rasmus, you are right, both with karamba and my thesis. And for the gridshell- we did not know about that one but had a similar case. Karamba comes with a component for iterative approximation of large deformations.. And most of it is free.
Hej Rasmus. Vil du være interesseret i at komme ud på Danmarks Designskole og fortælle lidt om, hvad du aktuelt roder med i Grashopper? Det kunne fx. være fredag i uge 43. Think-it-over og svar her på forum.
