Web grasshopper definitions

How far are we of having web based grasshopper definitions that could be modified by anyone via web? For example, online shops could offer online-customizable products.

This can already be done using processing but then we loose all what we all love of grasshopper. Does anyone know of any alternative to this? In fact Chrysalis proposed a kickstarter project with the aim to convert a gh def to processing, do you think that this is the shortest way to go?

Hi Danny, thanks for your answer, I was thinking about some kind of browser applet. This would not be using Rhino/grasshopper itself as any definition would be created, the end user would just play with the sliders.
