The loose mission of EPS

At our first meeting the group discussed the reasons why we would want to get together and learn about parametric/generative tools in design and it went something to the effect of, "solving design problems with accountable tools that help us analyze and generate solutions to meet environmental performance, form and craft desires."

Obviously, it is open for interpretation and feedback. Also, it may not be the right mission, so I think it is important that continue to ask the question, "why is this relevant and how will it add to the design process in a meaningful way?"
