completed shots of Gramazio + Kohler's Flight Assembled Architecture... which, yes, was constructed by flying robots.

does anyone know what they were using to generate the form and control the robots?  I know they've used gh in the past...

If I remember well, it was on Rhino + Python for the geometry (a simple lofted surface, then discretized via the python script). For the robot control (team of Raffaello d'Andrea you forgot to mention), they developped their own soft ("the Foreman", infos here: http://www.idsc.ethz.ch/Research_DAndrea/fmec). It was displayed during the construction event @ FRAC Centre. Preview here : http://vimeo.com/33713231
