algorithmic modeling for Rhino

problem with sweep2rail command and remote panel

I try to create a surface with the sweep2rail command by choosing the 2 circles as the 2 rails and the curve as the section curve but nothing is being created (pic1).

In rhino if i use the command sweep2rail a surface is created allright! (pic2). What is wrong?

Also when i open the remote panel nothing appears! And this is happening to all the definitions i try. Why? when i try populate a panel appears but its not fuctional! (pic3)

To show you just how sensitive this is watch this video, using your model.Sweep2_EndPoints.avi

the thing is the end point of the section curve coincide with the ones from the 2 rails, see pic below

With the Remote panel it is a known bug and is undergoing a rewrite along with clusters and therefore have not been functional in GH for a while.

Make sure that the end points of the section curve coincide with the end points of the rail curve. Example below shows two identical setups apart from the end point of the section crv of the left example has been moved away from the end point of the rail curve.

Also have a look at this http://www.grasshopper3d.com/forum/topics/how-to-create-sweep2-with... for other areas where the sweep components are limited. As the Sweep components don't feature in v 0.7 I think David is aware of their limitations and will be addressing them in due course.
