Phasma - Developable surfaces for Grasshopper - Update

GET IT HERE!

and don't forget to leave a comment...

Phasma will help you create developable surfaces from 3d curves, extend, analyze and unroll them.

EDIT : I know I had forgotten something!

If you don't have Kangaroo installed you'll get nothing...

It's just a wire missing. I put this DupLines component just in case but I don't think it is necessary anymore.

Sorry about that!

Well I don't know what your problem might be. I just tried it on a machine I formatted last week, with latest Rh5 eval an gh 0.9.0014. No problems here.

Oh yes that bloody bug! It's very likely because of that! I tried to replace in-component values by text panels everywhere but may have missed one or two. Can you spot where the flow stops?

Hi Fred! Very interesting definition + scripts you've put together! I would love to try it, but I'm having some errors in the definition (just using the 3dm example file). Does this version works with rhino 5 + latest GH version? May the malfunction I'm experiencing be related to that - really annoying - bug in the arithmetic components? If so, what values should I use as inputs there?

Thank you very much!

OK it doesn't work, but it's not my fault! It's this bloody bug in the arithmetic components that doesn't remembers the values I set... BRB ;§
