algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Millipede is a structural analysis and optimization component for grasshopper. It allows for very fast linear elastic analysis of frame and shell elements in 3d, 2d plate elements for in plane forces, and 3d volumetric elements. All systems can be optimized using built in topology optimization methods and have their results extracted and visualized in a variety of ways.

In addition millipede implements a few basic geometric features [extraction of iso surface meshes from volumetric scalar fields or and extraction of curved contours over any mesh] and a few numerical analysis tools [Fast fourier transforms in 1 and 2 dimensions, sparse linear system solver and eigenvalue calculation for large matrices using functionality from the intel math kernel library]

Καλημέρα, εξαιρετικό το εργαλείο που δημιουργήσατε! Έχω αρχίσει να δουλεύω με αυτό. Εντούτοις λείπουν κάποια αντικείμενα. Όπως π.χ. τα FE System και FEA System. τι μπορώ να κάνω για να τα βρω; Ευχαριστώ πολύ!

Hello everyone.

I'm having issues when loading the .gha file into Rhino.

(I just drag the the .gha and .dll files into Grasshopper right?)

Rhino says this:

when trying to use the components it says ' this version of millipede has expired. Please download a new version at www.sawapan.eu'. but there is no other version available.

The website shows that the latest RELEASE is of March 2014. But your news on the Grasshopper forum shows there is a Beta version as well. Please guide me to the link. As the current plugin I have shows it has expired. Thank you. BTW Great Job.

MILLIPEDE errors.. attempt to use components says that it has expired. even after I have completely replaced with new release of 2014.

Thanks for your amazing grasshopper plugin!I have read all the help examples from the Millipede,but I still get confused about the "point load" componet,when I apply a point load to a point in a structure,the reflection become infinite massive(which means the calculation doesn't come to convergence! ) ,could you show me how to use this and attach an example file? thanks!

Dude! This is awesome!! so great that you took this to rhino/grasshopper! Can't wait to try this out! Together with Galapagos and Kangaroo this can be a really powerfull combo! Cheers and keep up the great work!
