Hi Johan!! thanks for sharing!!

I was reviewing the examples files in deed, but I didn´t find a specific reference about the TangentIncircle. However, I realized that I can aim the same purpose by using different components, as you did in your own script.

It depends on what your after?

I used kangeroo to equalise the lenghths of each side of the triangles while also equalising the distance between the centers of each in cirkel. Did you have a look at the kangaroo examples?

it's a great job, and seems to work very well, isn't it?

I would ask you how did you get your incircles, I was trying using TangetIncircles but i couldn't do it... any hint about how to use it?

Hi Kipodi

It's still a test, left I use Kangaroo to equalize lenghts per triangle which is a adaptation of the kangaroo example files http://www.grasshopper3d.com/group/kangaroo/page/example-files

Right I use the vertices of the triangle to place a tangent plane to the torus surface (green) and then use surface boole to be left with the tessalation. See also http://www.jjwh.dk/file/PLATE_SHELL.html

I'am trying to make it work smooth smoothly and for anticlastic surfaceses as well....and then post it as a component.

Can you please share def. or explain the facets are the made by connecting the center points of the triangles?
