Comparing AddOns for Topology Optimization

I compared the result of three different AddOns for topology optimization under the same boundary conditions. The first is Ameba, second is Millipede and third is TopOpt.

Theres always a linear force acting on the top downwards and one linear force on the top acting horizontal.

One corner at the bottom is fixed completely the other only in y-direction.

I think AddOns are great, but they do not work in every situation. If you are trying to optimize a large area, then yes, it is possible to use an AddOn. However, if you are only optimizing a small area and have already optimized it with other methods, then I would say that it is not worth it. xổ số Kiến
