algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hello Community,
long time no see. Updating my portfolio and found this on my harddrive...
It was actually just a doodle, but it´s nice to have such an impressive output without putting too much effort into it (lazy me).

I created a definition, that I uses a bunch of closed curves,
- Lofts them (be sure to have a clean loft surface)
- uses sections to create surfaces, that
- are filled with U/V Points, that
- are used to create a Space frame.
The Definition looks like this...…

Dearest Community,
Some Weeks ago I finished a definition, that reads objects (only rectangular Cuboids) in Rhino and creates a List In Exel from it.
Reads:
- Dimensions
- Layer Name

I have a first result. It´s a bit tricky to load more and more curves into this definition, since you have to add a Minimum compontnt for every new curve to get the smallest distance between a curve and a Point, but thats work in progress, ain´t it?
The File and the File :-)…

Hello Community
I wanted to operate a Boolean Difference between this slat and aprox. 20.000 Cylinders for rendering purposes. But my Computer crashes evertime I select more than 50 Cylinders... Scripting seems no solution.
this is the script…

The "High-Res" Product from Grasshopper...
Next Step is a script to create a Slat with the holes in it. This means making a boolean difference of aprox. 60.000 circles(wich, before that, need to be extruded to Breps) and a Rect.Cube...…

Dearest Community
Yesterday, I finished my first Karamba definition. I find it hard to keep the Inputs, specially Point-Lists and Lines in Order and under control.
but in this case it accidentially worked.
greetings
Flo
p.s. feel free to send me any advices or Links to tutorials... I´m in desperate search of…

I just finished this Definition. It creates a Grid of single curved surfaces that can be unrolled and used for production because the connection holes are already set.
I tried to get as close as possible to THIS project.…

Dearest Community,
I just finished this definition (download below). All you need is curves with G4 that can be lofted to a surface that defines the form of the Grid.
I used the plugin FabTools wich is indeed very useful, and I recommend to install it.
Bollinger and Grohmann built the Hermés flagship store using a similar workflow, although they are so much more sufisticated in this workfield. …

this definition
- controls the thickness of your material
- moves the first and Last waffle in x and y group to avoid pieces that are too small to work with
- scales the waffles in Z-Direction if you have an…

This Definition needs a Point in Rhino as Input and produces a Suchov Tower (Named after the Russian Engeneer Wladimir Suchov) with Slabs and Steel Girders.
The User controls most of the Parameters and can bake the entire tower. Please let me know where I can Improve or optimize it. This is Work in Progress, so theres…
