I just started learning Grasshopper last week cos I am very in need of this. I am doing my
thesis now which is an online educational game. It's very hard for me cos am only depending on tutorials. Good that I have knowledge with other applications like this that's why I never have difficulties in exploring the interface and using the commands here. But I don't know yet the advance coding and other techniques. I…

I'm stuck on a project I'm working on right now and would like any suggestions. I'm just learning grasshopper and what it can do. I'm trying to design a facade of a building that will show or represent whats on the inside of the building or what areas are important. The only thing i have come up with was using a grid of boxes and scaling according to an attractor point. I'm open to anything.
Thanks
Tyler

At our first meeting the group discussed the reasons why we would want to get together and learn about parametric/generative tools in design and it went something to the effect of, "
solving design problems with accountable tools that help us analyze and generate solutions to meet environmental performance, form and craft desires."
Obviously, it is open for interpretation and feedback. Also, it may not be the right mission, so I think it is important that continue to ask the…

Current exploration into alternative interfaces for presenting and interacting with associative models. Here we see two examples of communication from an iPod Touch 2g to McNeel’s Grasshopper plug-in for Rhino. This is made possible by Open Sound Control (OSC) and the User Datagram Protocol (UDP). In these examples, a Processing interface was utilized to show what was going on with the iPod during the screencapture. In Processing, Stephane Cousot’s UDP library was used, as well as Andreas…

I am a digital artist and animator. I use Autodesk 3ds Max for my animations. I join this kind of community because I believe that I will learn a lot from the other members here and from the community as well. I've been using Autodesk for 2 years now and I wanna shift to other softwares which has greater features than Autodesk can offer if there's one. Well, I have read so many
research papers about software and other animation and…

I am a junior web master and I am using asp.net as my software application. I am interested in making 3d graphics and animation but I don't have even a little knowledge about that. I think animating 3D objects are harder and complicated than making a website. Then I have read on a
research paper about this new software that never requires any knowledge in programming. I want to try this one cos I think I'll be liking this kind of…

This Grasshopper definition is proof of concept for a VB component that unrolls developable surfaces to the XY plane. To make the component, I've adapted a rhinoscript by Andrew Kudless (of
Matsys) to run in VB, enlisting the help of CCA student Ripon DeLeon to write the code.

///Design with Rhinoceros, Grasshopper and VB script
