algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hi does someone have an idea on how to do this ?
I have a guilloche/rose curve and want to number the intersections it makes in the blue plane in the order of intersection.
The start is marked with the green arrow, now the numbers are semi random and I want to number the first intersection with 1 second intersection with 2 and so on.
what approach do I need to take here ?…

Hi,
I have been using grasshopper for a while now and have never come across this issue but since yesterday I have not been able to run the shadow studies. The model I have is an imported file. sun_path_analysis.JPG

Mostly for structural engineers:
a small component that let's you export things (curves (as in lines) and meshes) from grasshopper to Oasys GSA using COM.

Hi i need to find the flow of the water into different Pipe.
I was able to find all the point that i need exept those show in the picture.
i Tried to create line from the point that i allready have to find the intersection with "Multiple curve intersection" but it don't work.
I need to find the clean curve because i want to use "shortest walk"…

admiral city mall .. in nanning south china..This was a mall facade renovation and the client had a strange requirement of making the facade look like a ship. The project is entirely done in grasshopper ans rhino with a lot of manual tweeks.

So here's my shot at a Fillet Box component.
I tried to make it as self-explanatory as I could (hover cursor over inputs/outputs/component icon), but there are probably some things I should mention:
• If you just want softer edges on your boxes for 'nicer' rendering, you should consider using "ApplyEdgeSoftening" (In "Render Tools" on the Rhino toolbar:…

I am glad that I was able to adapt @Toni Österlund your definition and create something I wanted with it.
Design emerges from traditional folklore songs "El-Yamal" that fishermen sang before diving to fish and collect pearls, and when making fishing nets in the Arabian Gulf. Imagine these circle warp the entire facade of a building by the sea and is generated from their songs at the sea,…

First off I want to say thank you for your website and the wonderful help it provides people every day.
And many thanks to the interest we received last year, 2 of the people that responded are working with us. And we are currently looking to hire people with similar skills.
We at Design International are looking for an advanced grasshopper user with amazing skills to join our architecture team in London. You will be working on very large projects throughout the world,…

Once upon a time, my friend asked me: "Can you modell some well known historical building, like Empire State Building?". It was very interesting for me, and I sterted searching for information. Fourtunately I found essaywriter.org, where were a lot of interesting and usefull articles. As a citisen of United States, history of this building was very interesting for me. Now I share it with you.

This is a video showcasing how I made my wheels. This is very much to educate those who have no idea about parametric workflows. It doesn't dive deep into the algorithm. I would love to post a step by step but my industry is hyper competitive and they would replicate immediately and push me out.
It does show how I can beat my…

Hi,
hopefully somebody will be able to help me out there.
I have set up a grasshopper definition. Every time I enter to the definition, I should go and change the attribute of few components. Is there any way to fix these attributes so they do not restart?
Thanks,
Manoochehr
