Scan&Solve: new plug-in for Rhino makes stress analysis easy -- Now With Gravity!

In case you missed the original announcement, Scan&Solve™ for Rhino is a new plugin from Intact Solutions that completely automates basic structural testing of Rhino solids. No simplification, healing, translating, or

meshing is needed.
See these videos for a quick demonstration of Scan&Solve in action:

Exploring voronoi geo. as a facade envelop.

Hi guys, i am a master's student and i am working on my dissertation.
Well i am trying to explore voronoi geometry as a facade envelop.
I have chosen Phaeno science centre as a reference building to develop a voronoi
facade envelope. And then further i am concentrating on the daylight performance of it.

So it will be helpful if you can post some links related to voronoi geometry.
I am new to grasshopper and i am looking for urgent…

Stage Lighting with LEDs, GH, Firefly and Arduino

We've really been enjoying playing with Firefly and Arduino lately. Many thanks to the Firefly development team! It's helping get physical computing to catch on amongst those designers who are already using Grasshopper. It's going to be fun to watch Firefly develop...

We recently built a 1:24 scale model of a studio theater. The design team did a great job building the model, but it was so seamless… Continue

SLS:compacting many items into small volume

Hi,

Working on a file with many, many small objects. Like rice in a box, but then ricegrains in different sizes!

Is there a tool/function in Rhino/Max/Grasshopper that separates all this small individual pieces on ± 2 mm. distance from each other for a very compact but not connected SLS volume.

Thanks,

Rickenbilly

regards,

ton
