algorithmic modeling for Rhino
I uploaded Voronoi pattern simulation.
See http://www.grasshopper3d.com/video/voronoisimmpg-1
This movie is simulated result of Voronoi pattern.
This is variation of http://www.grasshopper3d.com/profiles/blogs/create-voronoi-patterns
I selected two results of 100 pattern, download model from …

I just started a new github repo for sharing python scripts for Rhino and Grasshopper:
www.github.com/localcode/rhinopythonscripts
If you'd be interested in sharing scripts, please feel free to check it out (or fork it, as the case may be).
I'd love to share ideas about how to work with python in Rhino, using a shared repository. You can also fork it and edit the documentation, add examples,…

Hi guys,
I have a set of surfaces arranged with a color gradient.
I would like to apply differents patterns according to the different colours, to define the degree of opening for a facade.
Any ideas?
Thank you very much

Here is the definition used to create the video seen here. Requires Kangaroo.

Recently I've been playing with draping uniform grids onto surfaces using Kangaroo. I find it fascinating to see the way different grid types (hexagonal, triangular, rectangular) conform to various surfaces. I wanted to share this interest with non Grasshopper users in our office so I printed a couple flexible grids out and let people play with them.

ContinueThe MySQL plug-in allows you to access, query, and write data to MySQL database servers with Grasshopper. SQL stands for "structured query language" and allows you to set up sophisticated relationships between large sets of data.
I have been experimenting with using MySQL as a data store for shared parameters and other information that multiple instances of Grasshopper (or other software) can access and use.
Feel free to give it a try and provide…

I am new to Grasshopper and Rhino so it may be an obvious problem here.... I am trying to set up a series of columns that expand and contract given a certain angle. I am hoping that i might get this angle to react to an attractor such as a sun path .. so far i have tried with just a single point as an attractor but i think i may have not defined the vectors properly. If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated.
