We've been teaching the students to use Karamba to model structural behaviour and work out which elements are in tension and compression.
I created a simple Karamba example file to show how to analysis simple trusses and which they can then modify to analyse their own structures.…

Hi Everyone!
I'm a newbie in Grasshopper, I am trying to populate an area that has to follow a certain path into triangles that can be configured to have a certain size, the amount should be adjustable as well as its dimensions, I was kinda following a structure with a multi attractor node following the paths I have, but it does not recognize the entries for the triangles.
do you have any suggestions on what to do or follow??
Thank…

The editorial proposal we intend to undertake concerns the digital representation strategies that can change the future of wooden architectures, by combining tradition and innovation. Call for chapters is aimed to anyone who intends to bring innovation and experience in the wood construction field, related to the advanced digital modeling with a particular attention to the solutions associated with generative models and the dynamic value inherent the relation…

Hello All!
I need a lot of help, I'm new to GH. I'm in school for architecture and Im struggling with this project. I can get the lofted surface I want and have done some exploring and found some different ways to cut holes into surfaces. But when I loft my surface it come out as a brep instead of a surface.
If someone can help me turn it into a surface and then a way to cut holes into it that would be greatly appreciated.
Just on Rhino create two…

I've created a running Grasshopper Definition that i feel can be useful to people using the plug-in and Rhino in general for professional work in retail environments, furniture / carpentry and general fabrication.
I will add updated versions as I build more tools in my practice and organize the file as feedback comes in. Feel free to reach out if you have an issue using them or need further explanation.
There are three main functions in the toolkit for now:

Hi, I have a question regarding the component 'TriGrid' (Triangular Grid).
I made a shading system by using TriGrid, however, I couldn't figure it out how to assign it into my building on a curved surface.
Is there anyone who knows how to do it?
Thank you very much for your help!…
