I have a first result. It´s a bit tricky to load more and more curves into this definition, since you have to add a Minimum compontnt for every new curve to get the smallest distance between a curve and a Point, but thats work in progress, ain´t it?
The File and the File :-)…

Hello Community
I wanted to operate a Boolean Difference between this slat and aprox. 20.000 Cylinders for rendering purposes. But my Computer crashes evertime I select more than 50 Cylinders... Scripting seems no solution.
this is the script…

The "High-Res" Product from Grasshopper...
Next Step is a script to create a Slat with the holes in it. This means making a boolean difference of aprox. 60.000 circles(wich, before that, need to be extruded to Breps) and a Rect.Cube...…

Ability to place as many points as you'd like and designate them as attractors or repulsors, control minimum and maximum vector values per attractor/repulsor, and differentiate between resulting geometry by a length threshold. Repetitive node sequences captured as clusters. Works for any curve set with a consistent number of vertices per cell. Definition attached. For original Grasshopper 0.6 definition check out …

ContinueI completed this definition (attached below) about a year ago during my studies. Well I thought I should share my definition with everyone.
Note: It takes a bit of memory when changing the controller, I'm sure there are more efficient ways of handling this kind of definition. However this was an exploration for me :)
Please feel free to comment/discuss and feel free to integrate with other definitions you might make and please post results here. Hope this helps anyone…

Some months ago we started to think about a "simple" question!
How to increase total solar radiation on future development and at same time decrease its impact on surrounding.
Ultimately we calculate optimized form, witch then represent borders for a new project, within if you build you definitely provide optimized geometry.
"Solar tool as new dimension in architectural design. Solar tool brings not just easy to…

Hi everyone, I am new with Grasshopper. I made a curved surface and then add the hexagon cells from Lunchbox to that surface. Now I want to create each of the cells a separate surface to make them move according to my atractor. But I can't do it. I gave patch but the corners are sharp and they don't follow the based surface. Another question is that I want to create vertical lines from the centers of hexagons but When I'm trying to do it it create horizontal lines (I tried Flipatrix but it…
