Hey guys, I wanna share you my research about the type of data from PANEL component. For some Chinese who have read my tutorial file 《Grasshopper完全学习手册》may be familiar with this image:
From this I gave an inequation which I didn’t give a proof that time. My guess was that the type of the data was not “integer” but was “string”. Luckily, the inputs of many…

Hi David. Thanks for your answer. I understand how metaball normally work and the thing you call "negative charges" is identical to what Cinema4D calls "negative influence". In Cinema4D you just need to apply a "tag" to get the result, but how to you get the effect in Rhinoceros or Grasshopper? Is it a property of the rectangle, line or point or is it something else?

Hi Mostapha, hi all,
I'm becoming a frequent user of LadyBug and first of all I thank Mostapha for the amazing tool you provided to all of us!
I'm running some analysis for outdoor spaces comfort and I need to get average values of Sunlight Hours during different analysis periods. Ladybug Sunlight Hours Analysis provides the sum of each daily values, is there a way to get an average value for the overall analysis period instead?
Thank you in…

Hi All,
Sorry if this is too basic, I am sure this has been answered somewhere else somehow I wasnt able to find it...
I have a set of objects (surfaces) which I want to extrude using a list of values. There are more objects than values in the list and I would like the operator to go back to the begining of the list until there are no more objects to extrude. Normally grasshopper just repeats the last value for the remaining objects. Is there a way whithin gh to…

Lately I've found myself jotting down and formatting notes in Grasshopper then exporting to a text file. (If this is strange to you, I understand completely.) So I've written a quick script making that workflow a bit easier. I know there are other codes out there, but I thought it might be interesting to share nonetheless.
There are some simple built-in safety protocols. It checks for an existing file path first then proceeds with the exporting process. If the specified file contains…

Dearest Commies
I created a definition, that I uses a bunch of closed curves,
- Lofts them (be sure to have a clean loft surface)

Hi there,
Very new to grasshopper, and was wondering if I could get some help on lining up some arches.
I want a series of parabolic/catenary arches. The first arch is symmetrical and spans along a curve. I want the second arch to extend in the following directions:
From the tangent between the inner arch or,
Continuing to extend at the same angle of the right inner arch.
I have done some basic experimenting, however the arches that i…
