Does anyone know how to create a simple legend based on this algorithm used to create the following image? The color gradient goes from purple to red in the z direction, and colors points (faces) according to their location in the z direction from the lowest z value (purple) to the highest z value (red). I just want simple legend that shows a scale from purple to red in mm (also showing the values where other colors appear). I tried using the legend that comes with grasshopper, but it has a…

If you are creating geometry outside of Rhino using Rhino3dmIO and you want to bring the geometry into Grasshopper this post describes one of the possible ways of doing it.
In your outside class you can stream your objects using a binary formatter as follows:
public class Class1
{
private Vector3d myVector;
private LineCurve myCurve;
private List<object> myGeometryObjects = new List<object>();
public Class1(…

Hi Guys,
We're building a project for the fourth year in a row at the Burning Man festival in Nevada US this summer. Spreading the parametric spirit to the world! This would have never happened without your constant support since the very beginning so thank you so much.
The project this year is called Tangential Dreams, a curvy tower made of straight lines following the tangents of a sine curve. This allows us to use off-the-shelf timber, minimise wastes and…

The first pre release of Parrot is now available for download at the group:

Development of the .dll library and the .GHA plugin are underway now.
However I felt releasing the user object collection would allow for feedback about the direction the plugin should go, what is and isnt working, etc. So please let me know any thoughts you have on Parrot at the…
