algorithmic modeling for Rhino
In Autocad it is really easy to unfillet or change a radius of a filleted curve. Unfortunately in Rhino this is not possible (or I'm missing something really big here :)).
That's why I've wrote a nifty unfillet script in Grasshopper. As input you can put any polyline that has some or all corners filleted. Warning though, a spline doesn't work, only a polyline that has filleted corners.
P.S. Only works in Rhino v5 and you need python for grasshopper: …

hi im new at this plug-in, and i have to do a cone surface kind like the one on this video
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ctDW6g8tT3U
i am kind of lost, i think i know how to start but then how to put the cones in a way that they dont be so regular and look more irregular, like on the video, like make a grill of circles, it would be so helpfull. thanks everybody.

Hi ,
I am trying to recreate the rhino command _EditPtOn within grasshopper using the
Python scripting compound.
At the moment it looks simply like following: a = rs.CurveEditPoints(y) // a = point , y = curve
Its works fine working with open curves . Howerver working
with periodic curves the output is very wrong (additional points far off the curves )
while the rhino command seems works fine with periodic…

I've cleaned up Gridshell Components and put together a few example GH files to get started. The inputs and outputs have been rationalised to speed up the modelling process.
I've also added an 'Unroll Curves' component which measures the geodesic curvature of a curve on a surface and produces the 2D 'unrolled' curve. Geodesic curves (e.g. those produced with the Shortpath command) unroll to straight lines. It is now possible to generate fabrication patterns for any…
