algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Structures under compression load are less efficient than the same structures under tension load. Instead of material breaking, yielding which determines design of a structure, at compression structures - buckling occurs before mentioned events.
By replacing straight beam elements under compression, with a series of fractal space frames (two tetrahedra on both end, and a stack of polyhedra in between) and distributing the initial compression force into tension and compression members…

Hi Djordje,
I would like to use your boolean split component, but it does not appear after placing it in the User Objects Folder.
I have the Python Script component installed and working - would it be possible to copy and paste the script into that - if so I need the script to copy and paste, if possible...
Hi Djordje,
This is an amazing tool. I have been using quite a lot and I found it very useful.
I recently had some problems with the results of a PV shaded analysis and I was hoping to understand your idea on this. I have been using the tool to compare the performance of an unshaded and a shaded array. I came across a case with panels westerly orientated and tilted by 35 degrees. Some of these panels were shaded by the context whilst some others were completely unobstructed. Plotting the percentage difference of AC energy per year between the shaded and the unshaded scenarios I have noticed that the unshaded panels would still get a reduction in AC energy per year. I have run few tests with the shaded analysis script with only one surface, including as context in the Sunpath Shading the sole panel, and I have noticed that the annual shading increases with the panel inclination and the rotation towards East or West. This depends on the shadow analysis which increases the shading in all window meshes which can’t see the panel and “hit” the back of the surface. The greater is the inclination and the easterly or westerly rotation of the panel, the bigger is the obscured area in the Sunpath. Given that the panel is unobstructed, the AC per year should not be the same before and after the Sunpath Shading analysis regardless of the orientation and the inclination?
See below an example of your script with some changes that hopefully will clarify my question.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Dear Djordje,
I have a question please: what might be wrong when I am using gismo, and the 3D is not extruding? I'm not explaining it well but here's a printscreen:
I would really really appreciate it if I can hear what you think might be the problem. Thank you so much for this plugin in the first place.
Sincerely,
Adeline
Thank you Djordje for your reply... I wrote discussions of Gismo forum what I want .. I hope anyone will help me in my case.
All I want file .gh so I can continue my research and I will write the name of him/her in my research.

Sherif
Hello Sir,
I want help from Grasshopper user .. I have file AutoCAD for masterplan I want to add it to Grasshopper.
I don't have file GIS, All I had is file dwg and analysis I did by Photoshop as (Existed Landuse, Heights, Street Width, .. etc).I want to make the relationship between building height (with its ducts openings) and width of streets.
What I know that import Autocad in Rihno but the progress to do in grasshopper, I have not enough information about it (I am not professional Grasshopper user ).
And what to import in Rhino is the outline of masterplan not with the existed building .. This is what I know must be done.
All I want to do is a Conceptual urban planning .. I watched a tutorial for it but I don't succeed in do it.

Thank you,

I am using ladybug Photovoltaic surface component to calculate the energy generation from my building facade. However I want to incorporate the shading from the context.
I would like to request you to please advise me the steps to calculating the photovoltaic power generation using ladybug.
I tried using Photovoltaic surface, sunpath shading, do to ac derate factor and then Photovoltaic surface again.
I am confused on the steps. Could you please do me a favor by write it for me.
hello thank for your componet i need "offset brep solid componet" by pyton
please help and created this componet
Hey Djordje! I'm really sorry to bother you but I'm hassling with your plugin and really need your help! Would you be so kind to please take a look at the following screenshot? I am trying to generate a the topography for the following coordinates:
However, for some reason its not generating the terrain because is says its not possible to connect to the remote server of opentopography.org. I have already waited a couple of hours but it's still not working. Do you have any idea what the solution could be? From some previous posts I understand there is a way to enter the data manually but I truly don't understand exactly what is the information I need or where to get it from. Thank you very very much!!
Happy New Year!
ok so i put some pics.
please take look to this
