so welcome to GH! It´s gonna be huge! :-)

Did you check out my post "01_the beginning"? It contains the full code already, ready to download.

As I unerstood you right you miss the link between the pattern of circles and the actual holes in the surface, right? So here I don´t use GH for the whole way to the complete model. I just did the linework of circles in GH and then took them and cutted them out of the surface with the well known standard tools in rhino.
- For that I check "please group" when backing the circles from GH to rhino.

- extrude them to cylinders, group cylinders

- use boleean substraction with the base srf.
