Dan: That's right. Based on a gradient sphere packing algorithm. This one is a product of relaxation with kangaroo.

I've seen this kind of geometry a lot. It looks like its an offset from lines made by a voroni cell. Is that what's going on? If so, are the centers regularly spaced or random?
