Yes it's generated with Grasshopper at a workshop tutored by : Daniel Piker, David Stasiuk, Dragos Naicu, Andrei Nejur  last year in november.

The photos are high resolution ; if you zoom in, you can figure out the joints

The structure will be covered with a translucent membrane(not scales like in the original project)
