algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Irregular gear animation
Just messing around...
(see full picture for animation)
Not a simulation but a direct-math calculation, or almost... (some trial and error + 3d interpolation behind the scenes)
As those 4 gears have a prime amount of teeth each-other (21,23,29,31) , at this speed, to come back in the same position it would require roughly a month!
My question is now... where would something like this be useful? And why?
A lock-encryption stuff?
