Impressive job Laurent, a bit fierce for my taste, but a like nevertheless.
Thank you Laurent ! Much appreciated
This looks amazing ! What approach should i use if i need to generate futuristic & contemporary forms like these ? I am a jewelry designer. I find it challenging to generate FORMS for jewelry products since the scale is very small.
Till now i would select mathematical forms/ cad- made forms and then add to them surface level modifications, but I realised that, at that small a scale, its the combination of form, texture & pattern which gives the final product. And in the final product one cannot distinguish the FormTxtrPttrn, but basically see the product as a whole as the byproduct of parametric designing.
Like the above image you have shared is a very good example. One would not necessarily know its a torus unless you told. Any tips from all you experts as to what approach i should adopt to get such forms ? Maybe using more of meshes is one way ?
p.s awesome work !
Thanks
