algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Here is the model. Surfacey garden trellis here I come. Actually this is based on some models I made almost 10 years ago. At that time I was trying to take a surface and apply a grid of circular cuts which would be normal to. I then offset this surface at a set distance. Both of these pieces were unrolled and laser cut. A bunch of dowels were cut down to the length of the offset. I then assembled and it did work pretty well except if was hard to put together as it quickly became structural and the PETG I was using lost any flexibility. I kinda forgot about those tests but then my partner reminded me and i thought I would try it again but with strips instead of overall sheets.
